WHAT IS WOOD DRYING? |
|
This is the process where the inappropriate water contained
in the wooden material is drained. In an ideal drying
process, preserving the quality of the material to be dried,
keeping the drying time as short as possible and minimizing
the cost of drying should be handled as a whole.
All of the conventional drying kilns used up until now are
kilns having steam boilers. The steam generated by the
boiler is circulated through the coil system in the kiln to
heat the coils and the air is circulated by means of the
fans located in the kiln and run into coils to heat the kiln
chamber.
Our firm first of all eliminated the need for steam boilers
and relevant equipment by achieving the drying by hot air,
and the humidity required by timber during drying is
obtained by pulverizing water with high pressure (around 80
bars) in the kiln chamber. Our suspended ceiling system,
fans, humidity discharge – fresh air flues and
full-automatic automation system performs drying in an ideal
and a low-cost manner. |

FEATURES |

Since the heating system works on solid fuel (coal, chip,
wood), operating cost is very low.
■
Our boilers are not steam boilers, they generate hot air. As
the boilers do not include steam in their working principle,
there is no danger associated with the use of the boilers.
Thus, no certified operators are required for operating the
boiler.

As kiln chambers are of prefabricated structure (seamless
assembly), mounting and subsequent demounting operations are
easy to perform.
■
The prices are “turn-key”. BOILER, KILN CHAMBER (with
suspended ceiling), FULL-AUTOMATIC DRYING AUTOMATION,
HUMIDIFICATION AND VENTILATING systems are included.
■
Our remote control system enables our technical personnel to
respond to the failures through the Internet.
■
Our kilns have a 2-year guarantee. (Technical service and
spare parts services are uninterruptedly given since all
mechanical and electronic parts are manufactured in our own
facilities.)

WHY DO
WE EXCLUDE STEAM BOILER TECHNOLOGY? |

■
The heat required for the drying process is exceedingly
provided by our existing hot air boilers in a comfortable
and quick manner. Whereas, in steam boilers generating steam
takes a long time (the time is even longer in winter). But
in our hot air boilers, boiler temperature reaches the
desired level in about 30 minutes. This temperature is
transmitted to the kiln chamber in a controlled manner by
means of our automation system.

In conventional systems, the humidity required to prevent
cracking of wooden material during the drying process is
provided by the steam generated in the steam boiler. But in
our systems, this humidity rate is pulverized into the
environment by virtue of our special humidification system
(About 80 bars of pressure)

Operating and plant costs of steam boilers are very high and
it is obligatory to employ certified operators.

■
Steam boilers and equipment require large spaces for
placement.
■
Additional equipment of steam boilers (condensate tank,
steam trap, safety valves, manometer, flange valves) cause
frequent breakdowns due to the lime present in the water.
Moreover, lime rapidly reduces the efficiency of coils used
in the boiler and chamber over time. (Underperformance of
boiler)
■
Maintenance of the water purification tank group,
consumption-based regeneration (back-cleaning) and use
requires qualified personnel as a measure against the lime
in water.
■
Our systems release you from the cost and liability to
purchase an additional steam boiler system while buying a
drying kiln. Because, “Hot Air Boiler” is included in our
prices.
■
Steam boiler creates a high level of danger in terms of
occupational health and safety criteria. Therefore, steam
boiler is not preferred in our system. |
